Anyway, I like the ghosting in the background, the use of fairly bright dull colours (don't mean to sound nasty :D) provides a beautiful contrast to the red...
The Chicken and the Alien homicide dude were an awesome touch.

yeah i tried to wash out the colors so that it felt kind of historic, like the quote.

and good call on the red, i kept it flat so that it popped out.
